Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans, starring none other than everyone’s favorite ubiquitous weirdo Nick Cage, is without a doubt one of the weirdest effing movies I’ve ever seen. It’s available streaming on Netflix, where I watched it last night, but I am still processing what I witnessed so honestly I cannot say whether or not I would recommend it yet. 

At the very least I will say that the first half of the movie is thoroughly entertaining, chock full of memorable Cage quotes and faces (and, even though it goes without saying, a strange and ill-fitting wig).
